1. Chaos Engineering Support
With Chaos Engineering, you sabotage your own systems. It’s only by doing this, simulating attacks and outages, that you can really understand how your system, and your team, will perform in extreme circumstances. Chaos Engineering lets you plan for extreme circumstances.
You can now integrate Gremlin chaos engineering events into your LoadRunner Professional scenarios. These disruption events perform virtual attacks on your solution. They can target hardware components, services and other aspects of your system that wouldn’t normally be tested.

2. Service Virtualization Included (for free!)
Service virtualization provides a powerful, quick, and flexible way to mimic the behaviour of services or message-based systems. These virtualised services can then be used in your test system when the real services are limited or unavailable.
With Service Virtualization you can focus testing effort on the important and available systems. This is incredibly powerful during software development and allows you to:
- Remove development delays
- Test Early and Faster
- Save Environment Costs
- Develop Better Solutions
LoadRunner Professional now includes a Micro Focus Service Virtualization license (All Protocols Unlimited) for use during performance testing. This allows LoadRunner performance engineers to use Virtual Services and simulations during their scenarios.
Service Virtualization is the best tool you’re not using.
3. The New LoadRunner Data Hub
The protocols and applications under test give performance testers enough to think about. You don’t need your performance infrastructure giving you additional headaches. For example, you shouldn’t have to worry about the network conditions between your controller and load generators. And with LoadRunner Professional, you don’t have to.
The LoadRunner Data Hub simplifies the network architecture, streamlining communication between your performance infrastructure. The Data Hub use a message broker, which greatly simplifies your job. For example, with Data Hub you don’t have to ask for ports to be opened or learn how to use a MI listener.
