Please Help Us Hit 10,000 Subscribers

Help needed to hit 10000 subscribers

Hello, fellow software testing enthusiasts! I’m excited to share something I’m passionate about and have been working on diligently for the last two years—Testing Times, a LinkedIn newsletter dedicated to exploring the latest trends, insights, and innovations in software testing.

As someone who has spent years immersed in the software testing ecosystem, I understand the challenges and rewards of staying updated and continually improving one’s knowledge and skills.

Keeping up with the latest innovations and tool evolutions can be daunting. I started Testing Times to provide a reliable, easy-to-digest source of valuable content for software testing professionals eager to advance in our ever-evolving field.

The newsletter began as a passion project, and I wasn’t sure if anyone else would be interested. However, it has surpassed my expectations and is doing better than I ever hoped! I’ve been thrilled to see so many people subscribe and interact with it.

We’re (hopefully) about to reach a significant milestone—almost 10,000 subscribers—and I’d love it if you could help push us over this incredible line.

If you’ve not checked it out yet, you can subscribe to testing times here

Save Your Software Testing Career

Testers: Why 10 Minutes a Day Could Save Your Career

Who do you want to be? The ex-tester bemoaning the rise of AI and the disappearance of the profession they once knew? Or the expert tester using AI, automation and every available tool to become more capable and valuable than ever?

Terrified of AI TT

The Software Testers Who Should Be Terrified of AI

The testers who should be terrified of AI are probably not the ones people usually talk about. And it’s not about whether you’re a functional, performance, automation, or security tester, or any other discipline. Those categories are basically irrelevant to your survival in the new world.

Regulated Businesses Insight

Regulated Businesses: How You Can Accelerate Software Testing

ALM Octane provides regulated businesses with a single, controlled environment for designing, executing, and evidencing software tests. This helps teams satisfy strict regulatory expectations, whether delivering change via Agile, DevOps, Waterfall or hybrid/Wagile projects.

Evergreen IT

How to Test Evergreen IT: A Very Short Guide

Evergreen IT sounds simple. Rather than running old systems for years, software is continuously updated. The benefits are obvious: access to new features, no more painful migration projects, better security, and less technical debt.

Agentic Testing

What is Agentic Testing & Why Does it Matter?

Agentic testing is one of those phrases that has started appearing everywhere. There’s an underlying assumption that everyone already knows what agentic workflows are, but many don’t. So what does it mean? And more importantly, does it actually matter right now?

From Chatbots to Platforms: Where AI-Based Testing Is Really Heading

The way most people have been using AI for testing is handy for a quick script stub or some test data ideas, but it’s a long way from an industrialised solution. For most teams, “AI testing” still sounds like a future promise rather than a secure, business-ready solution embedded in how their organisation works. It feels like something happening on the fringes, or more realistically, on a tester’s personal chatbot.

AI for Test Data

How to Implement AI for Test Data: 10 Considerations

Test data has always been one of the slowest, least glamorous parts of software testing. It is rarely strategic work, but it holds everything up. No matter how good your test plan is, weak data can make the whole exercise unreliable.

Choosing Performance

How to Choose a Performance Testing Tool

If you’re looking for a new performance tool or new to performance testing, it can be a tough subject to get your head around. I’ve been involved in the industry for 3 decades, and during that time, it has evolved massively. Increasingly, I talk to people at companies who’ve never

DevWeb is better than JMeter

5 Ways DevWeb Is Better Than JMeter

JMeter often becomes the default because it looks free. There is no license fee, and it appears flexible enough to do almost anything. But JMeter’s ease is often a myth. In reality, it is rarely the most sensible or low-cost choice.

Testing is Vital

Seriously Though, Five Reasons Testing is Vital

In the last main Testing Times edition (April fools day), I argued, quite ludicrously, that testing is a waste of time. That it slows releases, costs money, and ruins everyone’s fun. Judging by the comments, a few readers took it a bit too literally. So let’s be serious for a minute.
